Discipline is everything in roulette.

The game can give - but it can also take quickly.
Your bankroll is your survival kit.
Here's how to treat it with respect.

Golden Rule: Never risk more than 25% of your total bankroll in one session. If you hit that limit, stop and walk away.
Always have a session goal. Example: "I want to make £20 today and stop." Stick to it.
Tips to remember
  • 💼 Track every session in a notebook or spreadsheet
  • 🧠 Don't chase - chasing losses is what destroys most players
  • 🚪 Walk away after a good win, even if it feels early
  • 🎯 Avoid playing when tired, emotional, or distracted

My Betting Strategy

When I refer to a unit below I talk in £'s.

When you come to deposit your funds into your account for your chosen casino, you need to put some thought to it.
The amount you need to deposit will depend on which strategy you have decided upon, let me explain.

I do not like to increase my bet, so I choose an amount that will suit the strategy I'm using that day in order to achieve my goal within three to five spins.
My goal is usually £20 to £50; if I am feeling rich, it may be £100. This will affect the amount of money I need to deposit into my account.

I may well come back to the table three or four times during the day, so my daily winnings, I would hope, to be close to £80 or £90.

Sometimes I open my game with a very low bet — it may be only £1 or £2. This is just to see where the ball lands, not that I think I know where it will go next, but it gives me a reassuring feeling which maybe I need.

If I get too many losses or negative vibes from the early very low bets, I will not play but come back later or another day. I am not a natural gambler, so this may be affecting my psyche on the day. You must listen to yourself and react accordingly.

When I am ready, I place my bet — there is no hurry.
